'The Talk of the Town' CD released: The import CD of the joint Audionics / 2001 labels "The Talk Of The Town" has been released. It features the Las Vegas, January 26, 1972 Opening show as taken directly from first generation DAT copy of original mono soundboard tape. This classic concert includes first ever live performances of "Never Been To Spain", "You Gave Me A Mountain", "Until It's Time For You To Go", "A Big Hunk O' Love", "An American Trilogy" and "I'll Remember You". For this reissue the producers worked directly from the first generation DAT, and were able to make significant audio improvements, compared to original 1997 release according to the press-release. I have it on the original release called Opening Night 72,it is a great show with a lot of first time songs sung by Elvis,i believe this release will slightly improve the sound but i am happy with the one i already have.
