Fashion For A King The Norwegian fanclub 'Flaming Star' is working on a spectacular project. The club hopes to collect pictures of all the jumpsuits Elvis ever wore on stage in the 200 page book "Fashion For A King". Authors Tommy Edvardsen and Atle Larsen hope to have the book ready for print early 2009.

HMMMM!!! Well this is one I would buy cos I love the designs on most of the jumpsuits.... Was so totally hooked on them when I saw them on display at Graceland. Might be a stupid question but gonna ask anyway cos you all know I'm stupid (no need to confirm this with a comment tyvm Dave!!) but were the jumpsuits handmade....the rhinestones stitched by hand???

If you can get the dvd Fit For A King you can see exactly how they were made Julie..... the rhinestones were put on with a Puncher type machine....like studs.....if you are a fan of the Jumpsuits - and I agree the display at Graceland was wonderful.....you would love this dvd..... Bill Belew and Gene Doucette talking about designing for Elvis is fab.....I have watched it several times.
